Each member has a personalized home page that displays key information and provides one-click access to the most important areas of the site.

To find a particular member, click the members tab and enter the search criteria.
An overview of each matching member is displayed together with a link to their complete profile.
A member's profile includes a picture or avatar and a brief description. In addition, there are tabs for seeing a list of their friends, their groups, their blog, their portfolio, their contributions and the classes they teach. A member's email address is never displayed, and messages cannot be sent to children under the age of 13.
groups
A group is a place for members with common interests to meet and collaborate. Examples include study groups, faculty discussions, school clubs, and topic discussions. Each group has a forum, a chat room, a wiki and an optional password. Groups are monitored by our staff for inappropriate content.
